First Lady Uzoamaka Nwifuru Launches BERWO Foundation for Better Health in Ebonyi State

Today, the "Better Health for Rural Women, Children, and Internally Displaced Persons Foundation (BERWO)" was officially launched in Ebonyi State. The foundation, led by the First Lady of Ebonyi State, Chief (Mrs.) Uzoamaka Mary-Maudline Ogbonna Nwifuru, aims to improve healthcare access and quality, address the needs of the less privileged, raise awareness against gender-based violence, and more.

Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, OON, the Member Representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, commended the First Lady for her strong commitment to improving the well-being of vulnerable individuals in Ebonyi State. He specifically praised her efforts in rural health improvement, combating gender-based violence, and providing emergency healthcare in rural areas.

The event was attended by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Bldr.
