BREAKING: Shetty's ministerial nomination withdrawn by Tinubu
The nomination of Dr. Mariam Shetty, a candidate from Kano State, has been withdrawn by the president, Bola Tinubu.
Mariya Mahmoud was appointed President in place of Shetty.
Additionally, he proposed Festus Keyamo, a former spokesman for the Bola Tinubu presidential campaign committee.
On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu sent a second list of 19 candidates.
Remember that it was reported on Thursday that Nigerians' reactions to President Bola Tinubu's Wednesday nomination of Maryam Shetty from Kano State as a minister had continued to be conflicted on social media, notably Twitter.
The PUNCH reported on Wednesday that Tinubu has sent an additional 19 ministerial nominees' names to go along with the 28 candidates that had already been sent on August 2.
